Shiny Orb
Releasing a Shiny Pokemon will now reward players with Shiny Orbs. These are an untradable item that are used to purchase stuff from the Shiny Merchant (located outside of Fight Area PC) as well as used in some crafting recipes.
The amount of orbs a player receives is determined by the rarity of the Pokemon. Pokemon will always be treated as the evolution lines most common rarity. For example if you catch an uncommon Shiny Metapod it will be treated as a common due to Caterpie and Butterfree being commons in certain areas.
If the player releases a self-caught shiny Pokemon then they will receive +50% Shiny Orbs.
Every item from the Shiny Merchant is untradable, this does not include Pokemon.
- Common = 2 Orbs / 3 if Self Caught
- Uncommon = 6 Orbs / 9 if Self Caught
- Rare = 12 Orbs / 18 if SC if Self Caught
- Very Rare = 12 Orbs / 18 if Self Caught
- Extremely Rare = 12 Orbs / 18 if Self Caught
- Legendary = 12 Orbs / 18 if Self Caught
Shiny Pokemon without wild spawns will give 12 Orbs / 18 if Self Caught.
